As some of you know this past weekend was the "La Floresta mural fair" Arupo Festival Internacional de Muralismo Several artists from different provinces of our country came to embelish the neighbothood. We were lucky to be a part of the fair by hosting Smok 96 in La Casa de la Gringa, he is an amazing mural artist who participated in the event and was kind enough to make a beautiful mural for the wall on our entrance.
Choosing what to have on your front wall was not as easy as we thought, after a lot of debating and thinking we came up with a Galapagos sea turtle, as it represents traveling, wisdom and a happy go lucky way through life.
The results speak for themselves, the turtle came out magnificent and prettier than we couldve wished.
Now here comes the super fun part, we have the left hand side of the wall unpainted (as there is still some patching up to do) before we continue with the mural. So we are thinking on what to paint there... and are open to all suggestions, out of the options you post we´ll pick one and paint that one on September 3rd.
